And God had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. Jonah closed his eyes and accepted his fate. Fearless in his defiance of God. He would welcome death. The heat from fish's mouth was felt followed by the cold water. Jonah's body forced him to breathe. There was air but not death.
